Have a good one!
This is a point which canāt be underestimated. By judging Cheaty guilty of all charges, they have now cornered themselves into a situation where they absolutely have to throw the book at them. Anything else would be a joke. I didnāt expect them to show so much backbone to be honest.
The only thing which still concerns me is that there will be commissions on appeal, reviewing the sactions. Only a few, potentially corruptible people (like that corrupt CAS commission who let them off scot-free on a technicalityā¦).
Theyāll have the power to reduce the sanctions. The PL will then be able to say: āwe triedā, just like UEFA said at the timeā¦
I had sex with Linda Pizzuti many times, different positions
There is going to be no end to how far these ripples will continue to spread, as more stories are emerging that Arteta was receiving similar double wage payments from different sources while he was working at the side of Pepā¦
Will post more if the noise of this gets louder and louderā¦

Did you also fornicate with Stormy Daniels?
Watching the last few days this has been a growing concern of mine, too.
It feels like there is enormous pressure to make the punishment lenient, or at least somewhat palatable to Man Cityās owners, to try to keep things together.
But it might have the opposite effect. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs (donāt laugh, we know you are a big club Spurs!) have already indicated their willingness to litigate. There will likely be others.
Hopefully the Prem will continue on this path. I was really encouraged to see the shift in language as all this broke. They have got them, bang to rights.
Now see it through. If not, we might see a splintered sport at the top level, with different organizations and some clubs in this group, and other clubs in that group. Iād like to think that the Man City faction would be irrelevant, but given their blatant cheating, I canāt be sure how much financial reach they have into other Prem clubs.
There is very limited room to present new evidence in an appeal. They have put the best case available to them to the panel already. Anything they are doing now is either just spin to muddy the waters, or a reflection of further fraud to try to retroactively create more acceptable explanations for what happened.
Would charges of non co-operation still lead to punishments/sanction even if they where somehow able to show innocence ![]()

Can we change the name to"The Thread for those Vile Cheats, Manchester Cheaty, who Cheated"?,just incase someone is confused able the topic.

Oh, and Etihad are wrong too. Those big liars.
Sheesh. Get your lies in order! ![]()
Yes, and for exactly this reason. Iām sure it would be harder to hammer them if the obstruction means they werent able to prove the rest of their case, like at CAS, but it is based on the same principle as skipping drug tests in athletics is treated as commensurate with failing. It was considered a āCity Clauseā when it was added to the PL charter.
Donāt know if this has been posted already, but itās a good piece:

The Tax Man Cometh
Even if true, the Abu Dhabi government canāt just give them money to be spent on transfers???
If they run into trouble with HMRC they are really doomed.
Given that article I donāt understand the concern of them pulling out of Manchester in general. Seems like they got a great deal which they are now reaping the benefits from. Regardless of what happens to Man City that still remains a great deal that they will continue to make money on. What am I missing?
Not a fan of Jim White or Talksport, but this popped up on my Facebook feed.
Former City CEO doubling down and kept repeating āfull processā
Even when pointed out to him that none of the witnesses for City in the original hearing can be considered credible so canāt be used in any appeal.
