That’s what the British Tunnel is based on, right? I watched the first season of that for half a season I thought it was great, but thought it kind of fell apart towards the end so didnt bother with the subsequent ones or go back to the source.

Watching Fox/StudioCanel/Epix “War of the Worlds” season 2
Season 1 was passable with so much stupidity. However, Season 2 takes the cake of being a pile of steaming turd. I hate all series that became teenage angst. Even talking about it makes my angry.

How could they even call this Fox/StudioCanel/Epix shite an adaptation of H.G.Wells “The War of the Worlds”? Unbelievable.

I had a free trial of Epix a while back and gave that a go. It’s a text book case of forcing myself to get through it because I’d started. It was terrible.

I’m thinking this will be an unpopular opinion:

Ted Lasso on Apple+

I was told by a few friends to give it a go. I thought it to be a hokey premise for a show

15min into the first episode, hilarious. I finished Season 1 that same day. 6 hrs of power-watching a show. haven’t done that since the kid was born.

It’s so undeniably good that I assumed you were going to the other way with your review. It’s absolutely superb.

As an Ex-pat, it gets the transatlantic cultural confusion down so well, in a way that can only be written by a brit who’s lived in the US or vice versa. They actually do it so well, on a lot of quite nuanced things, that I thought Americans wouldn’t get it. It appears many did fly over the heads of many, but there is so much in the show to enjoy that it didnt matter.

Now this is an unpopular opinion, the Christmas episode with the scenes at Higgins’ house are some of my favourite ever.

I’ve been watching ‘Mr Robot’ 4 very good seasons so must be rather old. Really enjoyed it: On Netflix. (Kept me going for a while which is a real bonus).

Just binged half of the latest season of Cobra Kai.

It was really easy to root for Johnny and Miguel in Season 1, but at this point, there’s barely a single student who isn’t a dick and needs a good ass whooping.

I still enjoy the nostalgia moments, but short of them all dying in a pile up on the way to the All Valley Tournament, I’m struggling to see a satisfying outcome.

@sandsoftime Didn’t you recommend Bordertoewn? It’s pretty good, but it’s really annoying to have multiple episodes for a single case.
