That does seem to be the case. Also the fact that they have a child now. I feel sorry for both her and the kid but it’s not the first time that there are people who are caught in toxic,violent relationships who just can’t seem to let go.
I do think Greenwood will be playing football again though.
That’s exactly what it was. It isn’t the first time and neither will it be the last. The amount of money these players swim around in now has the ability to compromise just about anybody’s morals , to the point even of perverting the course of justice.

There was an open letter to the club from, I assume, some kind of United women’s support group, categorically stating they don’t support the little shit returning to the team, so the club decided to ignore it and ask the women on their payroll instead.

Several on the women’s team have already spoken out about it being unacceptable for him to play for them again. Basically Utd have made up their mind not to get rid and are now trying to fund any justification they can from the dialogue to point to for them to pretend the women’s team OKed it.
