I think the way to reconcile it is that it is very clearly tapping up, but the authorities have long since given up trying to enforce rules around it.

If they were in his ear, it would have been in their interest (moneywise), advising him not to sign any type of contract extension, no matter how short it would beā¦ Free is free, and getting him for zilch, zero money, would have been their priority

Itās almost as though their (as in ājournalistsā) tactics are working, and itās all about the clickbait and controversy rather than any real substance. Yet people keep falling hook, line, and sinker for every single thing as though itās actual news and not just unsubstantiated bullshit.
