Yeah, didn’t realise but we have even played the English teams - Spurs, City and United in Europe if not UCL. We need to thrash the Madrid clubs, as other than those two we have defeated them all. Even Roma and Napoli are done, it’s just Juve who we haven’t faced yet.

I know many weren’t having a problem if we sign Messi, but he isn’t the Messi of few years ago. While it was never going to happen anyways, I doubt if this sort of effort would be acceptable at any club. He’s not expected to do it at Barca, because that’s a given for the remaining 10 to do the dirty work. It’s too much adjustment needed to accommodate him for a new side. Hence, wasn’t that fussed when City were after him.

What he actually said was that he’s never had a harder game in his life and, right now, Solskjaer is probably the best manager in world football who needs to be given time.
Good of him to clear that up before it caused too much damage.

I loved how he clattered Martial just before half time. Not a foul just a good old fashioned hard tackle. Martial is not used to that.

I think we’ll slice them open a few times. Just hope our finishing isn’t streaky but clinical. I’m sure we’ll put a few chances on a plate for Mo and Sadio. I hope their tackling isn’t rasher than the last time we played them. I want a decent ref too we don’t want to be playing on eggshells for the whole game.
