UEFA Champions League (Part 1)

Especially Kjaer. It could potentialy be a great Danish partnership with Agger… in 2008.

We were linked with him quite heavily back in the day, isn’t he another who has vocally spoken about his support for Liverpool?

Yeah. I remember countless of posts about great Danes CB partnership. But it never materialized.

Because he’s been around for ages and he understands the game, helps he was born with a few brain cells too…doesn’t care about making it about him like the jokers we have in this country.

…and then uncle Woy took over and we finally got ourselves a great Dane - Poulsen. Close enough. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

In the space of 2 years we went from challenging for the title with Masch Stevie and Xabi to fighting relegation with Poulsen Spearing & Shelvey.

And defensive guru Konchesky. And let’s not forget world class attack with Jovanovic, Voronin & N’Gog.

That was awful from Messias.

Super ball by Tonali.

Tough times man, knocked out the FA cup at Anfield by non league Northampton.

that replay looked FIFA22-ish

Huge save Maignan, now that really wouldv’e been tie over.

Tomori and Kjaer are rubbish.

Have not seen Barrela do anything noteworthy so far

BT Sport getting rightly destroyed for their coverage, it’s not like they don’t show the entire Serie A league every weekend and could ask the two Jameses on to the show and replace a few no mark numpties.

That guy Origi seems useful on the left…

Basically without Leao this AC Milan team is toothless.
Inter generally have the better players Dzeko Lautaro Calhanoglu Mkhitaryan Dumfries. And they can bring on Brozovic Lukaku off the bench. If anything Milan are lucky it’s only 2-0. That was a penalty. Lautaro’s foot did get clipped

Hargreaves to Crouch: “Would you have gone down in that scenario?”

Crouch is: “Errr…if I felt the contact…”

Pioli completely wasted Origi there. He looked sharp and beat his man more than once. If that’s down the middle he probably scores. OG did fuck all

Yeah, watched quite a bit, and was more impressed by Tonali.

It was the League Cup, and they were a League 2 side.
