I mean that’s not entirely fair. He did have a nice sharp turn and floated a beautiful ball onto the path of his striker.

But in general what we would need from him is almost never to make stupid mistakes. And he doesn’t seem like that sort.

He did score the equaliser but against better opponents that original mistake would be curtains.

No chance. Their defence is suspect. They just don’t have the finesse of a decent European side.

People thought the same thing about Rangers last year against PSV after the 2-2 at home, yet Rangers was one of our opponents in the group.

I didn’t see last year and strange results can happen but they were outplayed last night in my view and scored twice against the run of play.

Saying that it felt like an away leg for Rangers anyhow so who knows.

How does that work?

Is is that Feyenoord themselves only have the ranking to be in pot 3, but are in pot 1 as champs of the 8th best league. But as everything below pit 1 is done on individual ranking not league, if they got bumped out of pot 1 by having to elevate Inter (had Inter beaten city, and the Dutch league being 8th ranked) they’d have fallen all the way to pot 3?

I’m not sure but I think it has something to do with the position Holland takes in the UEFA rankings. Because we are 5th or 6th and Cheaty winning the CL our champion moved to pot 1.
