And that’s the point.
Shit teams like the Barcodes and Man U (and Arsenal,FFS) finished ahead of us last season.
The fact that we were behind utter wank like these means that there was a fundamental issue at the club.
Injuries to both Diaz and Jota were harsh but understandable. But the fact that the midfield was so poor is inexcusable.
At least that problem has been resolved now. I’ll be amazed if we are so poor again this season
