I know. The difference in cash-flow and money from commercial sales, is just too vast. But you have to embrace what little romance that still exists in this decadent sport.
I am a Liverpool fan, but honestly, in many ways I detest the Premier League and everything around it. The financial muscles of the top leagues, particularly the Premier League, are just too strong and have destroyed much of what I loved with football as a little kid (of course, already then it was dying, but I grew up in the waning years of football, when Portugese and Dutch teams could still win).
Now, everything is plastic.

That was their left back winning the ball back 20 yards inside the Barca half, and far enough infield he was within the width of the goal posts. The through ball was to the RB who was 1-1 with the keeper. This is total football.

Marginally touches the attackers foot. Itās routinely ignored in several phases of the game
It was a great spot. He went through the foot first before the ball. Itās tiny margins, but themās the dice at this level
