Good grief. That was quick. Have you got a computer handy or something?

Is that because we were group winners? Or because Inter were drawn first?

Group winner advantage.

And how did miss the whole thing about Away Goals. Dont really like the rule, but it undoubtedly adds drama so not sure how it’s going to work, Especially as it certainly means additional workload for the players

Yes! Love it.

Can’t stand Inter in these last years, or better to say, both Milan frauds for almost the past decade. But Inter especially with their big announcements. Credit for their league title last year though, but that was also largely down to Juve completely losing themselves lately.

Might be going back to Milan again in Ferbuary, I’ll think about that.

By the way…

Liverpool vs the city of Milan:

6-0-2

Meanwhile Man Utd petitioning UEFA to be pushed to Europa league.

I liked the jeopardy of the away goals rule, but it’s cost us before too.

This way, it’ll be a straight shoot out, which probably suits us more as we know we can score loads. But it will mean the tension of nights like Barca will not be as big - that night, had they had scored one, we would have needed a further goal on the night.

I like away goals when we’re at home for the first leg. That way we potentially get an extra 30 minutes to score them. For that reason, it always struck me as slightly unfair.

Well, that’s certainly become a lot tougher. Probably along with PSG the team I wold have wanted to avoid the most.

Lol at Real Madrid, and United haven’t really got it any easier either.

This is beyond ridiculous. UEFA mafia cheated once again. Villarreal didn’t had Liverpool as a possible opponent.

Inter Milan a tough tie. Italian champions, European nous, some very good players, and happy to do the dark arts. When combined with our fans going to Italy - long history of bad behavior towards us, predating Heysel and obviously since then too, but nothing happens, it’s a tough one.

All in all it’s a tie to be avoided, but now that we are here, let’s beat them. I think we will, but it won’t be easy. And any traveling reds, stay in groups and don’t go off the beaten path. Horrible to have to say that tbh.

If they draw us with Villarral it would have been Inter vs Real left. Not possible because they were in the same group.

This has been covered above. Thought they had made a mistake again, but of the remaining teams at that point, there was only one possible combination because of the group and country constraints.

Not the easiest possible draw, but not the hardest possible either. We should prevail over two legs.

We already won at San Siro once this season - let’s make it two.

Thinking about going to the match. @Zoran what is the best way to buy tickets in order to be placed close to the Reds fans?

My friend just went to Milan’s website, created an account (you have to) and purchased tickets.

So I guess/I’m hoping that it can be the same exact way with Inter, as it was with Milan.

Of course, this game will be much more important so it could be a bit harder.

But that’s the procedure I believe.

Apart from their derby (I’m assuming) , do they ever play in front of a full house there ?

From the group of death to arguably the toughest possible opponents . It’s never fucking easy is it ?
