That’s Benficas ukrainian player Roman Yaremchuk who scored the equalizer against Ajax yesterday.

That’s the crest of Ukraines armed forces on his shirt.

Hahaha…I thought this was the Utd thread…and I’m thinking, ā€˜I don’t recognise that bloke. Is he a pitch invader?’

Jim White on Talksport asked the question, can Utd go on and win the Champions League? Simon Jordan nearly pissed himself. ā€œAre you suggesting they would beat the likes of City or Liverpool? They will get mullered!!

Looks like UEFA have decided not to held the CL final in Russia.

They should kick-out Zenith and ban Russia from WC.

Surely there comes a point when you say, ā€˜I’m not reading that!’

Was brilliant to hear Boris think of the bloody CL final yesterday.

Very important topic at this stage… crucial.

Let’s pray the rest of the tournament can be played out in European countries who are not themselves embroiled in a wider conflict. No-one can be sure how far or fast this could escalate to Ukraine’s neighbors Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland or Russia’s neighbours on the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland.

Yup

Hopefully Betis can solve an immediate issue tonight I bet UEFA are thankful it’s in Spain.

They are also looking at banning Russian clubs.

So Chelsea are out of the UCL then.

Anyone know how St Petersburg were ā€˜received’ by the Betis fans?

Paris… symbolic.

ā€˜They’ should go further; Russia and Belarus should be suspended indefinitely from UEFA and FIFA. Perhaps that would get the attention of the Russian public and turn them against Putin and his cronies.

It probably wouldn’t though. It would probably just reinforce their paranoia about the ā€œWestā€ always being anti-Russian.

I was concerned about Russia v Poland when the draw was made. Now, it doesn’t even need mentioning. Suspend them for this season and just move on.

Fuck Russia

Apparently both Milan clubs may have breached FFP rules (according to a headline i read this morning). Wont affect this season obviously but would be somewhat funny if it stops them from appearing next season…might also lead them to selling more players?
