Tbf he could go on a drought and only pick up 13 GA in his next 104 games for Bayern…
Whoever decided to keep Gakpo and sell loucho should be ashamed right now. I am sure Bayern were after Gakpo and our club must have persuaded them to buy Diaz instead.
The example I used in jest was probably our keeper that had most injury.
But I should add now that I haven’t read the book, but to highlight one keeper that looked like he grew beyond rapidly at a young age which clearly contributed to a career of injuries. And very sad outcome on the painkillers addiction because of that, then maybe players should consider retiring sooner and switching their skills into other areas of the sport.
I just hope that they (Arse) doesn’t have the last laugh (fart).
I think the only thing the game lacked was a couple of worldie saves, even some half decent ones would have done. Fantastic watch all the same.
Our season wouldn’t have been any better with Diaz you have to have a CM willing to go forward and ours just go back.
I still think we would have won quite a few of the games we lost in extra time Diaz was still full of running and I am sure you’d agree that at least we have two of the best CHs in Europe who were handicapped by our weakness at full back.
Why would Diaz help our full backs pass to them?
I used to think Clarence Seedorf had a footballing brain…!!

Ask the goalkeepers if they were happy with the scoreline. We’ve seen teams like Arsenal getting so many clean sheets and making a difference.
If there is a team that could bring it home, it could be them.
Manuel Neuer did not save a single shot vs. PSG.
He is the first goalkeeper in the last 16 UCL seasons to concede 5+ goals WITHOUT recording a single save in a KO stage match
It’s actually crazy reading that, he’s 40, retire and allow 37 year old Sven Ulreich a chance
It was noticed in the group I watched the game with. At times there wasnt even a reaction from him.
One of the greatest game of football I think I’ll ever see. PSG are like a machine, the passing and tight ball control they have is almost CGI, and Bayern, remind me of how we used to tear teams down. It was a stunning contest of titans.
All you could see all night is the PSG FBs helping massively the wingers and Robbo helpedDiaz on many occasions and Trent supported Salah quite well.
It’s slightly easier against Lisbon.
What a GAME !!!
Fucking epic !!!
This is what football analysis is these days.
SMDH…
Bayern had the balls to go toe to toe with PSG at their ground.
Ours? Went in like a coward.
Just finished a recording. What a game! That’s the two best attacking sides in world football, both with lots more talent through the side too, going toe to toe. Brilliant stuff.
I wish it could have been the final.
I expect a snoozy snide fest for Arsenal v Atletico. Hopefully they surprise me and make a good game of it, but my expectations are low. If I were a fan of either I’d obviously be fully invested and behind the team, but as a football fan I just want to see some good football, now that we are out of it.
