UEFA Champions League (Part 2)

they need to bring in nfl style flag challenges by the managers. ref has to go see var screen and the var display has to be shown on the big screen

They did that in the CWC.

Football is corrupt. Turned his back and intentionally left his arms up to block the clearance. Shouldn’t be allowed.

Wait, surely they could fit in another cringe songfest during the water break

Reverse of Liverpool’s 2021/22 - they will win PL and CL while playing some shit football for most of the time. And the worst thing is: they made me root for clubs who destroyed football off the pitch.

I am happy it wasn’t a penalty, the arms were hardly active. It is 50/50 and I hate it when such “hands” gets penalised. The rules should be clarified far better and the current hands rules is illogical and completely up to someone’s “feelings”.

As it is , my feelings certainly support this decision.

PSG struggling to play their football with Arsenal all over them like a rash. I think as the game wears on that will change.

It was a lovely finish by Havertz but a clear handball by Trossard, and I don’t know why it wasn’t at least looked at.

Mate I think you’ve accidentally got the replay of Wenger’s Arsenal on again!

Yeah that’s been handball for the entire history of this sport until about 3 weeks ago.

How didn’t we beat psg…theyre utter shite

Nah, I am just enjoying good football and seeing Arsenal outplaying PSG, which I for one did NOT exepct.

I am a fooball romantic, and I for one certainly enjoy this and think it impressive (so far).

and they just showed Arsene and Rafa on screen

wearing suits in that weather

That referee is fit. I usually hate the refs.

That is an incredibly deep defensive setup by Arsenal. They’ll have to be careful that this doesn’t just become PSG camped in their half for the next hour because sooner or later they’ll find a way through.

Tbh, I don’t even have a favorite in this game. I don’t want Arsenal to win the double (that’s a tad too much, I allowed them the title after all, there are limits to my generosity), but PSG is one of my least favorite teams in the world. Normally, I would therefore want Arsenal to win, but them getting the Double is a bit rough.

So let whover entertains me the most win, and so far that is, unexpectedly, Arsenal (though PSG now seems to be taking over).

I so wish WE played in this game, grrr !!!

psg are playing a slightly faster version of how we played this past season

Yes, they are getting deeper and deeper. Too deep. I don’t think this was planned for, PSG reacting well after Arsenal’s strong start (I suspect).
