UEFA Champions League (Part 2)

City 2-0 down

Almost 3-0 in fact.
But City have the power to win still at 2-0. So we’ll see the result at the break. Usually, away teams need a bit of time to get used to the pitch and the lovely weather and tend to play a far stronger second half at Aspmyra

Its funny that Karsten Høgh has scored both goals, as he has had a terrible latter sesson and is regarded as one of the reasons why Glimt has not taken more points and are basically out of the tournament.

I was well impressed with their home form in previous matches so I am not surprised they were caught out by Bodo. As someone else said they just nearly scored a third. I hope they hold out until the end.

What land?

It’s fun this and all, but it gives a bitter taste. Glimt has 3 draws so far in the tournament. They were better last season and didn’t even win the Norwegian league this season.

Because the problem is that with 3 points over City, (which would be epic and would be remembered of course) they still have to beat Madrid away in the next game and I cannot see that… :frowning:

Because they have to win both this game and the next one to advance. Still fun of course.

Hmm, I think I’ll see how Man Utd get on after 2-3 months not one weekend.

Imagine if Arsenal don’t win this PL…

Will be the most hilarious cock-up since Ben Stiller caught his plums in his fly.

I said Rodri 25/26 = Fabinho 22/23 last week…

I think I was being kind…to Rodri.

Take a bow lad, that’s one of the finest goals you’ll see in a while.

They’ve just hit the bar…these lot are unbelievable.

No fear or respect for these cheats, if only we had sides in the Prem that could play like this.

I know I am just the enthusiastic local Norwegian guy, but Bodø IS playing awesome attacking football. I would not lyrically talk about them for the last 2-3 years if this was not the case. I am not a guy who just automatically favours Norwegian teams.

But Bodø, with their weaker players, do play a kind of football that I personally find incredibly attractive. And they are worth watching. Despite not being as good as Liverpool or Manchester City or any of the other big established teams in Europe. The footy style and the system, is beautiful, I think.

It’s a shame that struggled so much with injuries and form this season. Still, not the worst display for a team new to the UCL. Just a bit sad. I think that last season, they would have gone further.
