Another thing that will mainly disadvantage Arse is that UEFA have told their refs to punish English clubs if there is a lot of grappling and Blocking of the goalkeepers on set pieces.

I understand Lens frustration on thisâŠtheyâre one point behind PSG in the league and are due to play them between our CL QF matchesâŠits ideal for Lens.
If it is allowed to happen it will make an already difficult tie significantly harded for us and we all know fine well the PL wonât react because they donât care.

The reasons the PL doesnât care is because they are the richest league in the world but the champions league rewards the participants and qualifiers handsomely ie just Arse and Liverpool stand to earn over ÂŁ100M even not counting the quarter finals revenue!
You go and check how much Shitty, chelski,Newcastle and tottingham stand to earn.

Yep.
Thing is, putting PL money greed aside, other leagues will also do this (Iâm sure Real Madrid and Barca over the years have benefitted) - it fucks about with sporting integrity, which pisses me off.
Ultimately, with this PSG situation, Iâm sure the French football authorities palms will be sufficiently greased and they will have a lovely week to prepare for the Anfield tie.

I donât think the PL should do it nethier should the respective Leagues.
Happy for them to move them to Friday but thatâs about all should happen. UEFA probably need to step in.

Itâs disgusting from Ligue 1 using Hillsborough tragedy as an excuse for PSG to postpone their match against Lens. Boils my blood. I hope that we smash them.

All I see is that they understand that April 15th is not a suitable match day and they are trying to find a solution.
Maybe itâs somehow lost in translation, but from their perspective, thatâs fine. Thereâs nothing malicious behind it, as it seems to be the usual practice there. The French federation takes French interests into account; Iâm familiar with this kind of consideration in other leagues as well. Unfortunately, this isnât common practice in England, but you canât blame the French for that.
Their league match would have been postponed anyway, and thatâs generally not a problem at all. Theyâre just trying to make everyone happy. You really shouldnât read too much into it.

We are in QF1, which means that us or PSG would be at home for SF 1st leg.
So there you have it. Ligue 1 has bent to PSG demands.
The CL match dates are set by UEFA to accommodate TV schedules and sponsorship. Wed 1st leg / Tue 2nd leg, or Tues 1st leg / Wed 2nd leg. Ligue 1 just used an excuse of Hillsborough tragedy to give themselves an out to placate PSG demands.

For the first leg After this unfair decision then they never will.
In fact I would go far as playing the U21s in the FA cup just to prepare for that game.
And the worst thing is that they donât need any extra rest at all to beat us.

It would be interesting if LFC asked the PL to postpone the Fulham game to see a) the Fulham reaction b) and would the PL even lift a finger to help them.
Even moving that game against Fulham one day ie on Friday would be helpful.

Obviously they are not confident they could compete with Liverpool who are fairly used to playing every 2 or 3 days and sometimes at 12:30 on Saturday in away games after playing on Wednesday.in Europe and flying back after a 41/2 hours flight back to Liverpool.
Is the Lens game supposed to be the weekend of our FA Cup game? If we had that level of break including internationals our lot would be in a state of comotose.
As I said UEFA need to step in on this if not for now but for future tournaments as it is there tournament. However I do wish Lens all the best in winning Ligue Un.

Lens in the end went along with it, with their chairman saying at the meeting that they agreed as it was the best for French football. Therefore I really hope PSG lose and Lens fuck up for their complicity.
