UEFA Champions League

Who do you support then, Hajduk Split? I think you told it to me once, but it’s years ago already! :joy:

Nobody, Liverpool.

I don’t know, I’m Dalmatian so naturally I like to see Hajduk and Sibenik (from where my roots are) do well. Plus the national team of course, being a combination of it all. But really, objectivelly speaking, when you’re from such a small country/league, you need good European results from all clubs involved. So I wish them all good luck. But I just can’t warm to Dinamo, never could.

Locomotiv are my favourites simply because one of their fans bought me a beer while I was there after they had won.

When is the draw so we know the groups? Somehow I missed that.

That is an Ajax-supporter … :innocent:

Next Thursday around 5pm. (Actual draw around 7pm).

Cheers.

I think all four English teams have the set up to go far in the competition. Spurs will be well organized under Conte. Chelsea have been there recently and look good again, after I was hoping for a blip under the new owner. Man City have been knocking in the door as it is the one they want above all else. And we have been to three finals in five years, winning it once.

Naturally I hope the other English teams meet a real heavyweight who knocks them out once we get to the later stages. I would be surprised if all four don’t make the knock out rounds.

When exactly did I become an Ajax supporter ? Can you please cut that crap. I have no idea why you keep doing this again and again. I have never been an Ajax supporter, but I like football and I did say once that I liked how they played. That was it. Really.

Bodø/Glimt should ideally have had a greater cushion and from the game, they deserved to win by more than one goal. I really, really hope it will be enough, but I don’t really think it will be. It could be though. They are in form and keep surprising
It really was a great game to watch !

That Pot 1, the only team I’d not want is Madrid (and City as we can’t be drawn with them). The rest all look rather

Benfica lead Kiev in Poland

Nice strike by the RB

Gonzalo Ramos is going to be a very good player.

Awful from Kiev.

0-2

David Neres looks quality! His movement and strength on the ball reminds me a bit of Mané

Rosenborg, yes. 2007/2008 season. It’s so long ago, I had to look it up to see exactly when it was, and if it was them or Molde.

They had a striker John Crew

Hah, wow, Carew at Rosenborg. And they played Chelsea, with Mourinho in charge. Must have been right before he left. It all feels like a lifetime ago.
