UEFA Champions League

Our three fixtures prior to the CL group game are Bournemouth, Newcastle and Everton. Win those three and go into a home game under the lights and all should be fine.

Of course, the wheels may have fallen off by then. Regardless, the group is what it is - ideally we start with a home fixture.

I’m reasonably happy with that draw. Not that bothered seeing Napoli again but the others should be good matches.

I swear Bayern Barca and Inter are drawn like every year.

Chelsea got it easy yet again.

Big Div to bang goals in against Chelsea in both their games.

Frankfurt winning the Europa League to be rewarded an Europa League group.

Could have been worse I suppose. Rangers… meh…

They’ll need to go back to wearing proper shin pads, instead of the tiny things they use now.

So we are finally winning the Europa League :grimacing:

I’d rather he just scored the decisive goal that sent them to the Europa.

If Frankfurt don’t beat Spurs twice and send them into Europa, @GermanRed is banned for life.

Can see these going through

Id probably say Spurs for Marseille and replace Sevilla for Dortmund.

Be interesting to see how both Scottish clubs get on, at home both are strong.

Spurs for Marseille definitely.

Not required! Everyone that needs said pads will already be injured.

How strong are Napoli going to be this year? This summer was a huge hit to the remnants of the side that was competitive under Sari and Ancelotti and Im not sure how good their replacements are.

They’ve lost some big players, as have Ajax tbf but I will usually give the favor for the club from the bigger league.

I think they’ve acted smartly, especially with their loan signings think Ndombele will find that spark, Gio Simeone and Raspadori were already proven. Don’t know much about their Korean CB they signed to replace Kouli.

Sevilla are honestly trash, they’re destined to drop into their beloved competition.

Spurs will find a way to Spurs it up.
