UEFA Champions League

Looks like it already has.

Cringed at their stadium announcer shouting Super Jacky Grealish and golgolgolgol Gabriel Jesus, proper league one stuff that.

Two great results for us.

If we can win at Porto next matchday and Atlético going for another draw at Milan the group is as good as ours.

I for one would enjoy seeing us go to Madrid and completely frustrate them with a boring draw.

Milner might have to start that one, on the strength of his performance last night. I think he personally accounted for 3 minutes of delays in those 5 minutes.

Portuguese and Turkish clubs used to be decent and they were damn hard to beat on their turf. Seeing how easily Besiktas and Benfica capitulated last night, those leagues are in terrible state.

Benfica got an away draw, as did Porto at an even tougher venue, so I don’t think I would rush to bury the Portuguese league. With Barca’s loss, Benfica will be quite pleased with their situation.

My mistake, I meant Sporting Lisbon.

Wasn’t great, going to away to face a side from middling league and losing, to be sure. But if you draw that inference about the whole league from a single away result against a Dutch side, what does that say about a league that has a member lose against a Swiss side?

You got a point there :+1:

Going to support PSG tonight

Make City work for the points. Sets up perfectly for us.

Milan goal up and a man down. Might see Atletico coming back in that one.
