UEFA Champions League

Seems a bit pointless now, but the Ederson attack didnt even raise a mention on the US half time coverage.

That’s a first, Porto player just got his shorts pulled down.

just 1? in the other game, there is currently 11 leipzig players getting their pants pulled down

How the hell did they hold them to a draw in the first leg?

What a great end to Porto v inter. How have Porto not scored.

Unbelievable stuff in stoppage time at Porto…off the line by Dumbfries then Porto hit the post and bar in space of a minute.

wow

Love how you write his name and so true :joy:

When’s the last time 3 Italian teams made it to the QFs. Feels like it’s been a while.

05-06, the year Barca beat Arsenal in the final. Since then they’ve only twice had 2 teams make it that far and most years had none at all. Milan winning the final against us the following year really was the start of an incredible decline in power of the league.

Is it a resurgence, or is the rest of Europe just a bit shite at the moment?

How was Ederson not sent off?!? VAR didn’t even bother with it?!?

Talksport wanking each others off over Haaland. Not a single mention of the Ederson GBH attempt.

Doesn’t have to a be the start of a trend of something, but it’s clear that Italian clubs have made progress in recent times. Napoli (other than Arsenal) is arguably the most consistent in-form team in Europe this season. That doesn’t make them favourites in the CL, that is difficult to judge and plan to win. As a lot of big clubs know.

There seems to have been a bit (lot of) trouble last night between police and both sets of fans in the game between Porto and Inter with regards to stadium entry due to what they perceived as fans having “Invalid tickets”…a very interesting detailed report from the account below for anyone else interested. I assume it’s receiving far more attention in Portugal than it is here but maybe not the last we’ve heard with this.

Naples right now… Glad our supporters are not there

Can’t be. Everyone knows that hooliganism is solely an English problem.

Just ask UEFA.

Those restrictions were effective, then.

Can we take their place :joy:

Naples, one of the most corrupt cities in the world.

I felt safe in the center of London. my wife went to Naples for work and for three days she clutched her purse to her body. at one point, a female student saw her on the train and offered to walk her a few blocks so she felt safe.
