UEFA Champions League

Saying that it’s 5 from third and I don’t actually think it’s ever mattered to us as we’ve won it twice from finishing second.

Anyhow it’s Tiraspol who deserve the praise tonight. Remarkable first two matches for them.

Yeah, I am not overly concerned about 1st versus 2nd - what matters more to me is securing earliest possible qualification for the knockouts. Playing that 5th match day with qualification in hand could be one more edge in the PL race.

I am laughing looking at Real’s group. Sheriff Tiraspor is in better shape to qualify than we are!

Bet there aren’t too many betting cards out there that have Sheriff to advance.

I agree the only problem with Porto is that we are their cryptonite if we beat AM twice they might even get out of the group

I said this to a friend, I kind of half expect Porto to at least get one of the two Milan matches.

Gini lost his starting place to the likes of Gueye and Herrera, both scoring 4 goals so far this season?

Just noticed that the great Inter was without a shot on target for 88 minutes against Shakhtar.

:joy:

I hoping for Villareal and Juventus tonight, smash 'em theyre really fucking shit!

The Sheriff story is no fairytale:

Off-course it’s not. If seen critically, it’s another case of sports-washing.

Doesn’t detract from the fact that them beating Real Madrid in the Bernabeu is funny as fuck.

First of their group with six points in two games, in a group consisting of them, Shaktar, Inter and Real.
