While complacency would be bad, I donât think we have much to worry about with Bologna. Their only win this season has been against a fairly hapless Monza side, they are a shadow of what they were last season.
By contrast, I think we caught Milan at the best possible time. A big win over Inter, then another W, and they are playing with much more confidence than when they faced LFC. Bayer might be in for a tough match.
How about âwill they win their 2nd match of an 8-match group roundâ? The eventual winner is so far off at this point, with so many huge matches in the 2nd stage. Speculation like this is just pointless pressure, irrelevant for any team that did not come up just short. Make a semi first. Will LFC win it all? No clue. Probably not, but I would have to say our chances are better than they were in 2005. Completely pointless to speculate right now.
