UK Politics Thread (Part 2)

Emily Thornberry being asked for her reaction on BBC Politics Live.

Essentially Labour’s line is now there should be a general election, but the Tories are the only ones who can make that happen.

She’s now laying out how Labour would run the country.

The host is suggesting that it’s a presentation issue, but Thornberry is saying that it’s a question of governance and methodology.

Always wondered why she didn’t do better in the Labour leadership race…

lol … he thought he had the world at his feet a couple of weeks ago , sipping champagne in Mayfair with his hedge fund buddies.

Now she (along with the other guests) is making the point that Truss needs to go. Her entire premiership is meaningless.

Sorry…the rhetoric at the time very forcefully indicated that she agreed with his plans.

She needs to fuck off now. She won’t, of course, but clinging on would be beyond the pale.

I look forward to this useless piece of shit being turfed out on her arse like the last useless piece of shit.

Has there ever been a more inept chancellor?

That said, she did begin to throw him under the bus almost immediately…

‘It was his plan.’

Was that on radio or the Sunday shows??

Theoretical question…can the wheels fall off something that has already lost its wheels?

Or before they’ve even been bolted on?

38 days…

Show up.

Completely fuck the joint in the arse.

Drink champagne.

Eat caviar.

The end.

Live fast, die young, leave an attractive corpse?

Go on the after dinner speech circuit

Fixed it for you

I should have said Chancellor and Prime minister

You know what, I’m beginning to think Liz Truss isn’t a very good Prime Minister.

The axle is broken in two, deep skid marks left on the tarmac from the wheel-less grinding

If you live fast the corpse won’t be very attractive
