The Conservative Party is fast descending into something like the GOP in the US. Full of self-publicists who see no real value in public service other than a means to promote themselves into high office , which has nowadays become the place from which the goodies flow.

Lisa Nandy seems to be a very sensible, and well researched politician when I hear her speak. To me anyway. Not sure why Starmer moved her aside to be honest.
