So where have I said it would be worthless rejoining the EU.
My response is quite clearly an opinion, emphasised by the âI thinkâ part. it is not a statement, it is not a fact. You or I cannot predict or prove that rejoining the EU would result in a massive expansion of trade. You may believe it would, thatâs your opinion and I respect that.
âAlthough you have freedom of expression, you also have a duty to behave responsibly and to respect other peopleâs rights.â
I was being a bit tongue in cheek with my request/post. Did I have any confidence in a fair response, no. As highlighted by said Moderatorâs response.
Disagreement is fine, I have no problem with that, but sadly, there are a number of posters who shut down other peopleâs views (not just mine) on the basis of it not aligning with theirâs. Labelling people because they have a different view and at the same time dismissing the validity of their point based on preconceived conception is suppression.
Also from the article âFollowing a National Crime Agency investigation, the UK has today sanctioned two members of Star Blizzard for their involvement in the preparation of spear-phishing campaigns and associated activity that resulted in unauthorised access and exfiltration of sensitive data, which was intended to undermine UK organisations and more broadly, the UK government.â
Thatâs a snippet of it. They were all over social media etc. as well and so on.
Just stop being argumentative just to justify in your own mind you were wrong.
An opinion that has little factual basis and clearly wrong. Even half of the trade deal we used to have with the EU would be beneficial.
You may have just read how brexit has impacted energy prices. Imagine the impact of reversing that to people. Youâve also been told numerous times how damaging it is.
Starmer cutting foreign aid/developent in order to increase defence/war spending. Tell me again how he will swing back from the right after the election?
I donât disagree with the general point youâre making (nor do I necessarily agree), but isnât it pretty obvious itâs a reaction to things across the pond?
