No. Just trying to show how this system got out of whack.
It really hasn’t though from looking at your benefit outline.
What it does show is how housing costs are out of control. Something everyone suffers however particularly for those on benefits and low wages.
The strain housing costs are causing is where initial concern should be placed. Then on low wages.
Personally I wouldn’t be against more tax brackets (though the UK has a continual barème now) with certain very wealthy paying 100% or more in the highest bracket.

PIP is a tory system that was abused during COVID. There is such a massive backlog on reviews of this system and WCA.
30k a year for a family of 5. Try living on it. You still have to pay water, tv licence, energy, communication, clothing , food (unless you want to live on tuna, tinned tomatos, bran flakes and eggs) . A huge amount of genuine pip claims go to tribunal but qualifying for the higher rate of both components is difficult.
If Burnham fails and Farage gets into power, I feel we re in trouble. Politics with Farage are a secondary issue for me, this idea of sacking anyone who fails to deliver in 100 days sounds like absolute chaos, is he going to sack himself if someone he appoints, fails?
Badenoch comes across as a strong leader, the people she has in her party don’t fill me with confidence, though.

I can not believe it’s easy to qualify for PIP and it’s intention is to pay for specific care and needs for those that need it.
Universal credit is a joke even more so than RSA in France. Shame on anyone criticising that measley sum!

I think there is a benefit cap too, for universal credit. I am not sure what the criteria for having that cap removed is but I think LCWRA is one of them.
I don’t know if the 2 child cap still exists or not, I had a letter about it but it was in small print and in welsh 
Can you please stop shit-talking ADHD. As parent of a child who suffers from the condition it is disrespectful, ignorant and really offensive.
There is no automatic benefit award for ADHD - it would have to be proved that the condition is debilitating.

I think a lot of people don’t experience the system so they take a view based on hearsay and or misinformation.
Explaining how ADHD or ASD affects a child is so difficult, imo, because as a parent of a 12 year old child who has just been diagnosed with ASD, everything she does is just who she is, it’s her personality. Now i have to pick it all apart to see what things are affects of ASD. It feels so brutal and it is heartbreaking.
