It was totally true about Thailand though
The closest story I can find to being true is 4 Turks in the 80’s that agreed to it in UK. Then 1 of them claimed months later after returning to Turkey that he was kidnapped and had his kidney stolen.
There is also the story of a “Mr and Mrs” contest in a pub in Belfast…
The contestants are asked questions about each other, matching answers winning prizes. The contestant not answering wears headphones, so they don’t automatically know their partners answer..
One guy was asked where was the most unusual place they had sex… he sheepishly replied that in was in the back seat of her fathers car. Much amusement in the audience.
She was asked, told that this answer was for £1000…she saw her Dad grinning and reddened up. Eventually she said .
“Up me bum”

Bob Eubanks swore for years that the story of it happening on his version of the show on US TV was only an urban legend, but it was real. Kind of. They understandably didn’t air it at the time, but the clip later reappeared in blooper shows
