Indeed. First one that came to mind is by Alexander. But it has been conquered by Romans, various caliphates and Byzantines, Turks, Mamluks and everyone else.

To be honest, the recent dark times makes me feel as if we are living in Antiquity, just a less brutal version of it.

To understand how POTUS could possibly come out with a statement like that you have to understand the process.
These TruthSocial posts are actually dictated by Trump to whichever poor unfortunate aide happens to be babysitting him at the time , and they can occur anytime , more often than not in the late hours or early morning , times when he is most likely to be in a state of high agitation. They are typed verbatim and immediately sent.
So if you think for one minute just how incoherent he sounds when heโs doing โthe weaveโ and then picture him doing exactly that when heโs just woke up in a foul mood then you can probably appreciate why what he posts (which of course immediately becomes an official government communication from the Office of POTUS) is so unintelligible , to put it kindly , and completely bat-shit crazy to characterise it more truthfully.

Alexanderโs is the most famous because if I recall, the island had never been taken. His causeway resulted in the permanent isthmus that we still have today. Pretty incredible. Anyway, I suspect we digress. Can talk about this stuff for hours.

Essentially fast moving smaller drones that are far cheaper than Iranian Shahed and certainly upgraded Russian Geran-2, that flies into the shaheed and blows it up.
They send up 2 against 1 shahed. 1 covers and films battle damage assessment, the other engages. If the engaging drone fails, the cover drone can attack, as an example.
An Iranian Shahed costs around 35 000 dollars in comparison. So finally something that is affordable.
