They don’t seem to have great organisation in that area though. The current US rescue mission (low flying, slow flying) reveals extreme Iranian weakness.
I would have thought we would see more fire directed at all those planes and helicopters.

This is puzzling me too. If they can shoot down a F15, why can’t they shoot down those?

Probably because most of their air defence assets have been vanquished in the area. I am more surprised that they don’t shot at the planes with machine cannons and heavy machine guns. It indicates that there are not much IRGC in that area or they are hiding (very possible) or completely out of ammo (less likely).
Mind you, it is reported that they hit a blackhawk helicopter with machine gun fire and that it was trailing black as it went home to Iraq, but that’s not really all that. Rarely if ever will Iran get a better opportunity than this day, in terms of shooting down multiple planes.

But that doesn’t explain the downing of the F15.
They must have some capable, and active system (probably like S300) to hit a F15 (they have hit F35, F16, and F18 too). I think they have very few of such assets, and are using those only for valuable targets. They didn’t want to expose their meager resources for ‘low-value’ targets like transport aircrafts, and helicopters since those aren’t used to bomb them.

This is interesting, and ominous.
It’s likely that the battery that shot down the F-15 was targeted imediately after. It probably didn’t get away. I don’t know.
Transport planes are high value targets. And here was an opportunity to shoot down several, as well as several helicopters. Of course they would have done so if it was possible.

I don’t think it happens either so no need to get excited. It’s not me saying this and why that person specifically said corruption rather than all the other stuff he’s done.

I don’t care if he gets impeached and I don’t think you should either. The process is just a circus and an unworthy one. There is no hope for conviction, process is purely political and has nothing to do with crimes or being stable or not as long as majority of GOP supports him.
I know many US democrats would like an impeachment process, but what the fuck is even the point of it except the media circus.
I suppose it makes Democrats “feel better” with such a silly process once again to showcast that GOP has made a political process political, but I am not sure that is really positive at all.
Maybe it is better for America if Democrats all feel awful and frightened and not find easy imaginary comfort in a phony circus. That’s my thinking anyway

I added this, I dislike any talk of impeachment when there is no hope it will result in anything and do not think it would make things better. It’s a soft pillow only for Democrats to rest their heads on.

I prefer no such attack, as long as you cannot hurt the person you are attacking effectively. I really, really don’t want to read about a new fake impeachment process taking the focus away from the Russo-Ukrainian War, from Ice, from everything that is important.
