Yeah… You don’t go to Paris for the beer. Stick to wine.
Pelforth Brune isn’t terrible.
However the wine and eau de vie is much better. Eau de vie is Armagnac and Cognac but from else where if you didn’t know).
Francesinha. You need Francesinha. I’m told it’s great with beer (even though I’m not a beer person).
Fair play. You seem to get around a fair bit.
Just thought the French add syrops and apperitifs. The ‘in’ thing is Picon. Makes it taste even worst imo but …
Porto update - the city is beautiful, food delicious, wine marvellous, weather filthy.
I heard the hospitals are as well however you do get treated!
The sun‘s out!
Don’t mind you fannying about holidaying all over the place. Just remember: do not cross the equator twice in quick succession during the season. You basically cost us the FA Cup, Premier League and Europa League with your ‘move down under, then oh lets go back to civilisation’ trick last season.
I’ll be contributing to Australia’s hot air crisis later this year.
Thanks for your welcoming words.
It’s a one way ticket if you do it during the season, mate.
Porto latest - Bloody marvellous when the sun’s out. One full day is not enough.
Missus is itching to shop, but have managed to divert her so far.
Everytime I hear Porto, I have to think of that woman from Saxony, who wanted to book a flight to Porto, but ended up getting a ticket to Bordeaux, because of her dialect. Went to court as well (she lost btw).
I’m not a fan of Port unfortunately, but there are dozens of companies on the other side of the river Cockburn’s, Taylor’s, Graham’s, Fonseca etc etc.
In my opinion (which is no more valuable than anyone else’s * ), the best house.
- caveat- you’re all idiots.
I snapped my ACL and lost 75% of my meniscus 15 years ago playing football for TIA.
They performed keyhole to tidy up the meniscus, but told me I was too old to have the ACL reconstructed.
The ACL is basically 2 snapped ends to this day.
I’ve run/walked and climbed stairs with no real problems since.
I can hear my knee grinding when i squat down and stand up though.
I saw a physio yesterday funnily enough and he told me to never squat. Either go down one knee or both if need be. Sounds like solid advice because that’s how it happened in the first place. Anyway it seems to be more or less manageable now.
How would you go for a dump if you were camping?
