I am starting to think of him as ManU’s version of Hodgson. He is so concerned with managing expectations that he seems inadvertently humiliating. His comments about how they could of win this game (and the last one) must be driving ManU fans up the wall.
Talked a big game when he arrived, delivered crap.
Hodgson was managing expectations from day 1

If they keep him in charge then it could be nasty when we play them.
If they replace him they might find someone good, I knew there was something not right with him when he played such a strong squad in that friendly against us.
It seems like talking after the fact, but the way he went about last summer’s transfers, with such a focus on players he already knew, was a big red flag.
Yep, terrible judge of player, thankfully.
He doesn’t look up to it. But hopefully he does just enough to stave off getting sacked for a while yet. But Man Utd are fools if they don’t look at deeper systemic issues throughout the club.
A manager shouldn’t be given so much latitude over transfers. Even Klopp at Liverpool.

It’s a shameful display from United. They are giving too much respect to City
Erik zero Hag soon…,.very soon.
Exit ten sack
Completely disagree with the first sentence - especially re MU.
Surely the manager, together with his staff, should be the ones who decide which players they want in the squad. The men or women in suits, are there to get the deals over the line.
They should have a say but it has to be a collective effort with the ‘suits’ in the recruitment team having a lot of input too otherwise you are almost limited to the managers universe which may be made up largely of former players and those his agent represents.
Scouting / Transfer teams are also needed if the first choice target isn’t available, and they can give manager options.
Getting Soboszlai and Gravenberch (who was treated as a talent on par with Bellingham ) makes more sense to Liverpool than just pinning all the hopes on Bellingham.
The scouting team’s competency as well as Klopp"s flexibility comes there.
None of which the manures have anyway. They’ll keep searching for a generational midfielder (read De Jong) who’ll probably keep rejecting them until he reaches his best before age… Whereas other teams will get players and train them to become better prospects
Villa are 100/1 to win the Prem atm.
Utd are 300. lol
Scouting network and performance analysts say “hi”
Are they not staff?
