How has nothing been made of Martinez elbow etc, every time I watch them it feels like he could easily have been sent off but seems to get away with everything and there appears to be an orchestrated silence about his behaviour afterwards.
A clear malicious elbow put Bailey out of the match for a bit. Var seemed to be looking but ref just started play again while Bailey got treatment off the pitch.

Looking at United’s first team squad for next season with contracts expiring, they will have a pretty shorther squad and the possibility of starting a little bit new with some cleaning and new additions.
Seniors who will still be tied under contracts next pre-season, as things stand, are:
Henderson, Varane, Martinez, Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Wan-Bissaka, Malacia, Telles, Casemiro, McTominay, vdBeek, Eriksen, Fernandes, Antony, Sancho, Elanga, Martial.
A few might get new deals (like Dalot, Shaw and Rashford), a few might be sold (like Maguire, Bailly, Wan-Bissaka, vdBeek, Martial).
Clear that they will need signings basically across every line.
Goalkeeper question, a full back for sure, a midfielder for sure, a striker for sure. That’s at least 4 major signings.
Much will of course depend on what they achieve this season also.
