Great conversation with United supporting colleague this week. I havenāt seen him since mid December.
Heād been on a trip to Panama snd Columbia. So after accusing him of being a Trump plant we discussed Amorim.
The discussion was remarkably similar to one we had 6-8 months ago. Support the manager.
Interesting chat on admiring Amorims honesty vs throwing the squad under a bus ala Mourinho.
Conversation banked in my memory for a 6 months or so.

It seems like their transfer strategy has shifted towards buying young players again, rather than the likes of Casemiro and Varane.

We will see if they get it right. A 40m deal for an 18 year old isnāt particularly value of course it may become a steal but itās still very much 50/50 even on the best.
Assume the best thing to say is it will be a decent resale value if the guys at least decent.
