When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

I think both 2008-09 and 2018-19 also ignore the significant number of games in hand they had.

Yeah games in hand and when it started.

I’m sure we’ve been more than 11 ahead at some point. I think we went 10 when we beat Bournemouth anyhow.

This Amorim bloke… has secured 15points from 15 PL games .!
If that is not relegation from, then I don’t know what is…
Roll on the new season so he can begin to amass his 38 points :0)

That point per game ratio includes a draw against us. That won’t happen next season.

As I noted elsewhere, 38 points isn’t relegation form. Certainly not this season I expect. It has been quite a while since the last team to go down with 1 point a game. Maybe ManU should be celebrating Amorim’s Great Escape?

As @cynicaloldgit noted, they will only achieve 32 points :0)

Pssssst… shouldn’t that be 36…!

Do they have the money to sack him?
Do they have the money to back him?

Love to see it.

I saw a story about them drawing up a short list .

It just sounded like a list of people who wouldn’t go there.

They can have a review in the summer though.

They’ll sack another 300 people.

No problem

Oh Yes, but the office staff are going to have to start buying their own tea and milk.

Even AI knows what’s going on at United:

Do they have the money to sack him?
Do they have the money to back him?
Rubin Amorim, the coach who thinks he has flair,
His tactics are bold, but his hair’s quite rare!

He walks on the pitch with a serious face,
But behind all that, he’s in a mad race!
With United’s board, who can’t make up their mind,
Should they give him a chance, or leave him behind?

His team tries to play with pride,
But if they lose again, where can he hide?
They’ll say, “Don’t worry, Rubin, it’s just a bad day,”
But deep down, they wonder, “Will we be OK?”

His stares are so sharp, they could cut through a breeze,
While his players try, and the fans beg and plead.
But every loss feels like a knife in the back,
As the Glazers debate, “Do we stay or attack?”

“Do they have the money to sack him?” they cry,
“Or will they give him a season to finally fly?”
Maybe next week, his tactics will stick,
Or maybe they’ll just throw him in quicksand so thick!

Oh Rubin, the manager, with dreams so bright,
Keep winning, or you’ll be out by the night!

Hojlund, Zirkzee, then a bit of Mateta.

F*ck me, this would be next level.

At least he’s “Premier League Proven”. That’s already an improvement by United’s recent scouting standards.

That’s what Shaw was paid. Not sure he “earned” much of it.

No mistake was ever made by paying over the odds for a bloke who had a good 3 months.
