When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

Might have something to do with the fact he’s more interested in flashing his cash on instagram than getting in the gym.

It’s an easy opinion to have, but why didn’t he have this issue at Dortmund?

Or perhaps it was a case of playing exceptional football whilst taking time out to post stories of the luxurious cars he has, hotels or holidays he stays at.

Can you not be a professional and also be able to post these things on Instagram?

Lingard leaves ans Sancho takes over the role of Insta star.
Seems like a good way to spend £73 million.

He did, he was often late for training with Dortmind. Got fined a couple of teams iirc.

He was playing football in easy mode over there. There was always a good chance he wouldn’t be able to deal with added challenge and adversity very well.

🚨| Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag got into a heated argument after the away game against Chelsea in October. Sancho felt he was always the first man to be replaced regardless of his performance since EtH took charge

🚨🚨| The relationship between Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho is COMPLETELY OVER.

Ok well if that’s true then there’s no arguing against that.

But both parties must’ve handled it well after that seeing as he was never out the squad for further disciplinary reasons…played regularly enough and built his name as the top English talent.

It was in Dortmund’s interest to keep a lid on anything negative re Sancho… for after all he was a prized asset they needed to move onto an unsuspecting buyer eh…

As Marvin Hagler said, it’s difficult to get out of bed to do the roadwork at 5am when you’ve been sleeping in silk pajamas.

The level of effort required to sustain the performances necessary to succeed at a club with the expectations of Utd is far greater than the effort required for a talent like Sancho to get his breakthrough. Lots of talented kids will never get to grips with that and so will not live up to their potential. How fabulously well paid they are for the work they’ve put in to that point just increases that risk. This is precisely why players like Pogba can be a cancer and senior players like Milner and Hendo are worth their weight in gold.

I get that but these negative things will usually find it’s way out into the media so what are these negative things he’s done.

If it was simply for turning up late in training a few times, I’m not fully on board with the concept that as a footballer you can be late to training by 10-15mins once every few months lets say and be fined so and so…and people immediately come to the view that he’s unprofessional, doesn’t care, awful attitude, disrespectful towards his teammates, doesn’t want to be there etc etc but when you really observe did it affect his performances on the pitch?

Ousmane Dembele comes to mind as well…

As I said with Man Utd it’s not spending it’s the fact the club has been such a mess for years.

And amusingly, they comprehensive restructuring they finally put in place after talking about it for about 10 years might actually be showing some green shoots, only for some idiot to come in and force them to buy Pogba again.

Hate to be Scrooge but they are still ahead of us in the table and we will have to overtake them if we’re to compete in CL next season.
