phew, for a second it looks like Flo had pulled his hamstring but looks just like just a knock to the side and he’s walking it off
Flo limping but appears to be nothing…
Yes, I hope it’s nothing.
TD Green Bay!!!
might be the wrong thread @sgs , alrhough NI do wear green
Flo holding on to the ball and trying a nothing move with two defenders on him, lost the ball in a bad spot but his team bailed him out.
Amiri and Leweling looked impressive for Germany.
Conor looked solid 1v1.
Sell!
That clause Bayern have for 55m will be a steal.
They do know by doing him down they just will push him further away.
Turns out, I did know he was Swedish.
Guess I just didn’t care either way.
It was clear for a while now that Depay would eventually break the Dutch record.
In Italy it’s interesting as their highest goalscorer is Luigi Riva with “only” 35 goals. Their top 3 is made of players that ended their international careers in '74, '39 and '52.
Like fine wine, getting better with age and still so young
The NI goalie should have kept it out to be honest. But it’s good to hear that Wirtz had a good game this time.
I think it probably has more to do with the vacuum of talented attacking players produced by the Netherlands this generation. Memphis has been relatively free of injury during his career, and has not had much in the way of competition for his spot. For all his foibles, one thing Memphis has always been able to do is put the ball in the net…except when he played for the scum.
Thanks for the sensible post I watched the whole game he was man of the match imo and in the first half he ran into space countless times but his teammates ignored him but the manager must have noticed that and it was a different story in the second half as he basically ran the show for Germany.
Yes he really had a good game and NI press was very good but ran out of steam in the end.
Just want to add that it’s nice to see Wirtz having a good game and coming into form. On occasion the international break can be helpful for club football.
The main point at Liverpool is getting points on the board to be in touch at the top, while the new players integrate and Slot finds the right balance. I don’t have any doubts about Wirtz and can’t wait to see him bossing it in the Prem.
So here I am up at 4.45am with a wide variety of quality thrilling International matches to choose from.
Help please. Suggestions of which match? Something full on and close hopefully. Back to bed is an option though.
