Hope Howe is expecting him to be a bully like Burn or Joelinton because he’s not. At the moment he’s probably one of the best to back into defenders and shield the ball in transition but Woltemade is more of a funny/nice guy.
He signed for Stuttgart last year and did not play much in the first half of the season. Unlike Wirtz he really had only Bayern on his mind. The last of their three bids was around €60m including bonuses. Can understand why they walked away.
I think Newcastle see something in him that he’s not. That skill and agility package minus 15cm and he would be a bang average player.

This might be related to Wissa, but from what I heard yesterday, Dortmund has no intention to sell Maxi. Maybe that offer would change it.

Problem for Newcastle is the world and his dog has seen their ready made replacement for Isak. They can delay no longer really.
They will also have to shift Isak before the window shuts especially if they buy one of these.

Rumors about Newcastle getting Frattesi (on loan?) from Inter. Not a bad deal for Howe if it’s true. He’s different from the midfielders they currently have

Not from what I’ve seen of him over here in Italy. That might change when he meets up with Howe and his bunch 
I rate him, probably the second best Italian midfielder after Barella at the moment.
