He would have to buy a whole new wardrobe lots of warm clothes.
Newcastle have obviously made him āan offer he couldnāt refuseā.
Not that good apparently. Heās fucked them off.
Big Sam is still waiting by the phone.
Emery said no to Newcastle after talks he said he is staying at Villarreal
Damn. I was looking forward to his post-match interviews on Saturday ebenings.
This is really bad from the perspective of the buying group. I would have thought that they would have sounded out several coaches before the takeover.
And definitely before the sacking
Damn, that is harsh. Rejected by Emery, people were going to be making fun of them for hiring him to begin with.
Iām dreaming againā¦
*Go on Pep, you know you want a new Champions league project. *
How many PL clubs will you have tried now again?
Allow me any excuse to post that again.
You do wonder why they sacked Bruce without a man in place, found it odd
Theyāre clearly in a hurry.
It wont happen but wouldnāt it be fantastic if all managers suddenly grew a conscious and ignored offers from Newcastle.
The irony of sacking the one person who was probably the best person to keep them in the PL.
It is particularly odd, because they made it absolutely clear he was a dead man walking before the deal was even approved. Having done that, there was no particular reason why they couldnāt be approaching candidates discreetly while he was still in place.
To appease the fans I suspect. They know that taking Bruce out and having a caretaker wonāt change much, but keeping him in would have just frustrated the fans more. This way the fans know someone new is due in and keeps the fans somewhat buoyant.
Could just be that the Geordie Arabian board have shit for brainsā¦!
I think the Saudiās are arrogant enough to believe that nobody would turn them down, so they expected to have someone in place fairly quickly. Oops!
Big step down from Emery to Howe as well. Wouldnāt be confident heād keep them up at all.
I donāt imagine the fans are too happy watching their club desperately searching around for a trainer and being snubbed and rejected.
Letās hope this is the way they are going to go about their business.
Theyāll crash and burn.
Howe would be an interesting choice, but I really canāt see him being the guy to dig them out of their current hole. I think it would be a serious career mistake for Howe. He is at the stage where his next move is critical. If he gets it wrong, he joins the likes of Alex Neil and Owen Coyle on the list of once-promising managers.
Considering how bang average he was at Burnley Iād say it was a mistake.
I think they have burnt through all the Merry go managers, donāt think Colin has managed them yet mins.
