Al-Sandcastle - the sportswashing barcodes

Oh, I don’t know, it is quite possible that he missed yet another very obvious thing…

Howe says that Dan Burn could be out for 3 months due to a spine injury.

They will loan someone in in Jan then

Fixed

Said it before, watch for an influx of loan players from clubs in Saudi who just happen to be owned by Newcastle owners

St. Maximin, Neves, Veiga…

Missing players today.

A knieverletzung! Sounds painful

Hang on…Javi Manquillo is still on their books?

There’s even more, a journalist in the press conference said they have 13 players missing at the moment. Probably includes some young players who have been added to the first team squad lately.

Assume they can’t loan til January.

Another reason why we should only sell our past it talent.

Didn’t their DoF come out recently and say they could loan players from Saudi owen clubs at anytime?

When the transfer window is closed they can only bring in free agents.

Yeah they are restricted from making loans, they can make free signings I believe but wouldn’t be allowed for the CL.

As soon as the window in January they are free to do whatever they want.

I burst out laughing when I saw this on the BBC text, no trace of irony

Dortmund have done nothing second half. Feeling very hard done by. We deserved at least a draw. Trippier very poor tonight. Dortmund allowed to get away with persistent nasty fouls all game.

Aw diddums, that must be very frustrating to watch…

Newcastle face an anxious wait over the fitness of Callum Wilson, who went off at half-time in their Champions League loss at Borussia Dortmund.

Tight hamstring.

Expect there to be 14 clubs who vote for this.

Not so sure.

City, Toon, Villa, Brighton all have owners with involvement in others clubs, so straight away you would think those 4 will vote no.

If Sir Jim has any say at Utd, you can include them and Everton look likely to be sold to 777 who have major connections in Soth America and MLS so that is 6 likely to knock the proposal back, only takes 1 more and it is done

How many clubs are there who have sister clubs? Being able to move players around in them is a big part of the value of the approach so dont expect any of them to go along with a rule with the lines drawn so bluntly

There will also be clubs that will see sales to Saudi Arabian clubs as a potential income stream that they may not want to lose.

Realistically, how many clubs are competing for European places or silverware?
