Basically he’s a sheep dog herding the other team to a tackler like Elliott, who is a wolf!
Anyone else think Macca looked like he’d be on the ale before today’s game? He was so slow when it came to releasing every ball and made some really dodgy decisions. Not like him at all.
You could see how bad the shape had become by the time we made that double sub. It pushed him forward a bit with the expectation surely that he’s get the ball to his feet to pick out one of the forwards. Instead he found himself a few times the furthest man forward and having to use his legs more than Im sure we planned for. Notably Darwin was in a good position on a few of those occasions and just didnt have the ball get to him.
He’s going to be a dad, congratulations!
Ailén Cova on Instagram: "te deseamos y amamos con todo nuestro corazón. nos vemos prontito 💗"
How did we get this guy for such a bargain and sneak past all other clubs.
Another nice goal v Brazil a few minutes ago.
Extend that contract.
Yeah I’d say try and get him and Dom signed up as well as Grav.
Anyhow seems he got through
Thankfully he didn’t play the full match. Subbed off in the second half as part of a four-man change.
Argentina’s goals can be seen here:
Considering Argentina has already qualified, hopefully he won’t be called-up for the remaining (FOUR) qualifiers or other meaningless friendlies.
Wishful thinking I reckon.
All nations going into WC’s need to be building their teams towards challenging for it - so they won’t just leave their starters at home for remaining games.
He’s the biggest smiler on the team.
Szobo, look at Mac and learn how to shoot.
This year’s Mac Allister is the version we have been wanting to see and want to see going into the future.
The best thing to happen in his Liverpool career is Slot coming to the club, and Slot taking the risk on Gravy which has given him much more freedom.
Nice to see him close the gap with Bruno and Mainoo. Still some ways to go, but baby steps nonetheless.
@Iftikhar and Neville surely have to feel some tremors.
It’s funny to compare Neville’s comments to Scholes’. Neville was confidently stating Utd had the better midfield. In contrast, from the beginning of the season Scholes was raving about our midfield. Beyond his role as a pundit, you could see the admiration, midfielder to midfielder, for how complete our midfield was, good enough that he was tipping us to win the title even then.
Neville is baffled every season how come we get so much from our midfields. Underrates them constantly. While it’s a beautiful combination of qualities and balance over there at United, they’re a great example how a midfield should look like… plus a pinch of the old Pogba “if only he had this, he would be that” nostalgia.
Scholes does quite well as a pundit, down to earth, seems honest and not bitter and has a dry sense of humour
