So would I, on the proviso that there is good money on the table that we can use to reinvest. I think we need to find a better balance in the midfield. Oh, and I would also keep Curtis Jones.
Another World Cup Final run isnāt exactly going to help him find the energy he was lacking last year.

Looks like he conserved his energy perfectly, getting to the World Cup final with his national team.
If we keep him, great, as he is a good player. But if there is a buyer at a decent price, and there should be given his profile, I would sell.
We need better balance in our midfield. Oh, and definitely keep Jones, hopefully on a new deal.

He was non existant until we scored, but then could easily have scored 2, he is impressive with his late runs into the penalty area.
Oh and hopefully his price just went up if we sell him.

No! I think our current midfield group does, as evidenced by the many teams who waltzed right through us last season.
We need to find better balance in the group, whether that is by coaching, or from a new a signing - to my mind probably a combination of both.

Macca is a good player. He had a bad season last time, as did many others.
If there is a good offer on the table - and his profile and a World Cup final showing leads me to think there might well be - then I would sell, to reinvest.
If we keep him, itās hardly a booby prize, as heās a good player.
But I think Iāve been pretty clear in saying there is a better balance to find in our midfield, as it is not defensively strong enough.
Once Iraola adds his wingers and hopefully starts getting a better tune out of Wirtz and the attackers, it will need some solidity behind them.
