I thought recovery from a hair transplant was a number of months which is why players get it done early in the off season? He won’t be heading a ball for a while!

Fully aware that reaction emoji ages me as much as it does Limie lol

Thank God Mac didn’t opt for the Joe Hart hairline!!!

Alexis being pretty honest about the transfer window and his situation at the press-conference today…

makes the sarr potential signing last week look like a seriously desperate move. lfc are moving into the 2nd phase of a rebuild and sarr is too old for the type of players they have been targeting

offer me a new contract…at the salary a expected is surely key context though.

Full transcript of what he said, which having read, i have no issue with.

His fitness/performances have been concerning for 18 months. More performances like the one against Ipswich, and he’ll get that new contract…if he forms part of Iraolas plans.

Talking about contracts publicly is a bit of a faux pas, but I have no issue with it. Football is like any industry – players sell their labour, not their lives.

Macca was shit last season and he’s turning 28. I wouldn’t have extended him on that form, either.

Hopefully we see the Macca of old again - we’ve seen some glimpses so far.

The reason for his drop off imo was he didn’t want to get injured so as not to miss the WC and a few of the Dutch contingent did as well for the same reason.

No coincidence that he comes out with this after Hughes left.

That second contract players sign with Liverpool is usually very lucrative so I get his frustration a bit.

Him, Dom and Ryan came in the same summer if I remember correctly. They all hat a shit 25/26 season (Szoboszlais freekick goals probably saved him a bit) yet he was the only one not to get offered a new contract.

That was probably his last interview for the time being. :upside_down_face:
