Alisson BECKER: 2020/21

Just a bit tired after running the length of the field in the previous match. He had some cake for that but assures me he is trying very hard to cut these lapses out.

I had noticed he was pretty decent with his head before.

Anyhow after the year he had he has ended it with some redemption.

Rumour he has agreed to a new deal. No real source but still nice to be hearing only a few days after the league done

Thats good. At 28 he is yet to reach his full peak. Keepers peak is normally around 28-32

Yeah, we are negotiating extension with Alisson, Robertson, and TAA although their present contract runs till 2024. If things go according to plan they will sign-up till 2026 by which time Alisson will be 33, Robertson 32, and TAA just 27.

It’s not only the length of contract, they’re probably also getting rewarded with somewhat improved terms. New contracts for your best players costs money, but you’re putting faith in them continuing to provide top service.

I bloody well hope he had a goal scoring incentive written in to his old contract. He’s a five goal a season man now.

Yeah Robbo and Trent is just rewarding them with more money. Heard both are not even on 100k a week (not even lol) but deserve to be.

Both Robbo and Trent earn in that ballpark (ÂŁ100k/week plus variables).

Firmino, Fabinho and Alisson will refuse to take part in the Copa America, which would make them available for Jurgen Klopp at the start of pre-season. [Daily Mail]

Interesting.

As I said I would support any player who refused to play in it, Bolosarno is using it to prop up his awful regime that’s losing support. If Argentina wasn’t safe then Brazil certainly isn’t.

I saw Suarez had Covid concerns over Argentina so I suppose that’s only got worse with the new decision.

It’s crazy. 500 a day dying in Argentina. They’re the first Latin American country to start producing a vaccine. The Sputnik one. Brazil has 2,000 or 3,000 deaths daily at least. Columbia 400 dying, Paraguay, PerĂș are getting hammered. Only Chile seems to have the virus under some control, after a big vaccine roll out.
