Klopp did have slumps. He lost 6 games in a row at Anfield. 2 of them being to Burnley and Everton.
The difference is, we all knew he’d get us out of it somehow.

Well Caroline is more into the tiki-taka stuff whereas Carol is a traditional 4-4-effin-2 proponent with a hoof-it-and-hope tactic. I can’t see them pulling off a coherent strategy.

At this point it feels like fans who want to keep Slot are just gaslighting and taking the absolute piss like rival fans that are mocking us. Many bigger and better coaches than Slot have won the league in their first season and been sacked the following. There’s no amount of credit ONE singular title can give that can oversee historically bad run of form not seen in over 70 years that has not only turned us into a laughing stock but also statistically the worst team in Europe’s top 5 leagues in 2025.

When Arne first came in he made us hard to beat not conceding many goals or chances, what has happened to those performances.
He was more pragmatic, not brilliant to watch but we were hard to beat.
If he has any chance of saving his job, he needs to go back to that pragmatism.

I certainly want to see something different. I honestly want him to turn this round but I really want to see something different this weekend. Get those midfield three into a more disciplined, cohesive unit and not leaving a huge hole in the middle of the park.

For me the most telling thing is that Slot refuses to drop Mo. We have a number of options up top but he insists on playing a player that everyone can see does not belong on the pitch at the moment.
Konate shouldn’t play either but I’d give him a little more of a pass because we can’t realistically expect to build a JoGo-Virg partnership for any length of time. Macca is the other player that just is stinking the place up at present and shouldn’t be starting either.
Fixing/replacing just 2 of these 3 would at least show that Arne is (belatedly) learning. If he persists with them he will be gone soon.

I’d love to keep Arne. I really want him to succeed and I think he could. However he has to show some authority and make some tough decisions - Mo and Macca need to be dropped and ideally some way to drop Konate. We are currently playing with often only 7 outfield players while also trying to integrate the likes of Isak and Wirtz. It’s too much and Arne needs to realise this or he should go. Unfortunately I think he makes those changes in the next 2-3 games or he goes.
