This is either gonna make Indykaila look like a proper dick or a real ITK…

Not sure what to make of it.
In my opinion, this will only postpone the inevitable. There has already been enough time (several international breaks, withdrawal from a competition, etc.) to develop a working solution, but nothing has changed. On the contrary, it has only gotten worse.
There’s no way the club would issue any sort of ultimatum on points expected, nonsense imo.
Correct!
I’m not surprised by the news that Slot is staying for now, but it’s interesting to give them a day off tomorrow. I thought today would be the day off and partly training for the ones that didn’t play.
So he wins both then looses next 4 is he back on you need to win next 2.
I could understand it if there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately City, Forest and last night have been a deterioration of standards again.
The dreaded vote of confidence, which usually fills everybody with the exact opposite.
It feels like a bit of a ticking time bomb now. Fans starting to leave early, some booing at the end, players downing tools. If it’s a similar performance and defeat at the weekend it’s hard to see how he can survive what would be the 20th defeat in the calendar year.
100%.

I think they mean to say Sword of Damocles but people always mis-hear it as vote of confidence

It’s definitely worsening. I fear the next time we concede the lead in a shambolic way, one of the seniors will completely lose the plot (a la Bruno of Man U) and get sent off and stomp down the tunnel. Which will lead to a 0-7 scoreline.
We really aren’t far away from this scenario.
If for example they had a tactic review session today then giving the day off tomorrow would make sense to me.
A day for the lads to let it sink in and perhaps get a reaction.
Many are saying it’s all tactical which to a large extent it is. However the players aren’t helping each other out constructively either. It looks all so erratic and individual.
What, for example, is the point of Szoboszlai running about putting pressure on the opposition if noone else is backing him up?
There’s no cohesion and it’s sad to see.
You can not rely on each individual winning his duel without a cohesive effort.
More fuel to the fire…
Apparently, this is some reliable ITK on liverpool-rumours.co.uk
Make of what you will. I dunno about the reliability of this site…but sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don’t…I guess that’s what rumours are meant to be.
My only questionable thing about the post is…why would Slot stay till a replacement is found by the club? Would he not prefer to walk if being told you are being fired.
Probably no truth at all but I have heard from 2 different sources today that Nagelsmann has been sounded out for next season…![]()

That is exactly what I can’t get my head around. One and a half years ago, they opted for continuity, and were rewarded for it with the PL trophy. Then, the same men decide to go into last summer and, instead of building from a position of strength, to unsettle the apple cart, sell players left and right, and buy the next-best blinky toys in the shop window.
The word hubris comes to mind, but why? Slot, Edwards and Hughes are proven professionals who should know better, and yet, with hindsight, they seemed to conduct themselves like 12-years old. ![]()
Why back someone whose fall from grace has been so quick and catastrophic?
The club will look silly if we lose next 2 then what? Another 2? Then another 2?
I know we aren’t really a sacking club but the season is still saveable at this moment.
It might not be in two or three weeks.
The question is who would replace him? If the right person isn’t available, they’ll have no choice but to back him for the time being.
He’s about to lead his country to the World Cup. More chance of Jan Molby being our next coach
