Apart from everything else, I really dislike his tendency lately of almost refusing to make a sub if he’s in the lead for fear of upsetting anything. No chance to refresh the team or to rest someone, the only way for Slot to make a sub is either to concede, in which case he panics, or for his hand to be forced by injury like with Salah. Speaking of which, when was the last time Salah had two hamstring injuries in the space of a few weeks?

Also, Ngumoha’s minutes have been drastically reduced with Isak back in the fold. Not that that is wrong by itself, but it does highlight how Slot will prefer to play someone who isn’t fit over someone whom he doesn’t trust.

Sooner he’s gone, the happier we can all be.

I would like to see Rio see more action, and as he beats a man and opens it all up, a fella like Isak will be on hand to score. Get a couple of wingers going next season, with Wirtz firing in the middle and a more stable midfield base behind, and I think Isak is going to score a lot.

Under the right manager, mind.

If we finish top 4 I don’t know if they will fire him tbh. It’s still a decent place. We’re gonna miss out on Xabi.

He could easily finish 3rd or 5th but it seems ever increasing that we will finish with CL football.

Problem is what the powers of be think. I’m glad we are at least attacking with pace on the counter now but it’s not great.

Well FSG just sacked the Red Sox manager early-season. That’s something

Not surprised

Don’t know him. Was he sacked by FSG directly or did FSG let the hierarchy do the job?
