I honestly don’t get the rushed expectation for us these days?
What’s so wrong with letting him seeing out his mutually signed contract till the last day and then leave, like so many players seem to be doing lately? If the results fail to impress starting next season, then sack him.

If we beat the mancs tomorrow? Then that’s guaranteed champions league income for 2 seasons running. Add to that the league title, then Slot has brought more income into our club than those 5 managers in total and times by 5 again!
for me, if he is still head coach/manager next season, i will support from afar, catch the games when i can but no longer a priority like now. Will save @Mascot the trouble of banning me from here and self-ban

Some don’t like him or his brand of football, or have lost faith in his ability to organise the team properly.
There is also a time element with some of the players - a bad season next season may see the likes of Wirtz want to leave.
There is a time element with some of the possible alternatives - Alonso, a favourite of many fans here, is unlikely to hang around to see if Arne is sacked for example.

If he does stay I just hope he gets a proper reset and the fans are united enough to give it a fair go.

I see that ship has sailed already for Alonso. If he waits for Slot to fuk it up then likely to be the next Liverpool man in charge.
I don’t understand how any Liverpool fan can believe he wil be - SACKED ?
Whether people believe it is one thing, whether the teams performance and lack of tactical shape, both attacking and defending should warrant the sack, is another.

Being 1 win effectively away from CL qualification I really hope we see no repeat of last year if we were to get it this or next weekend.

The thing I find strange with Slot, is that even though the fans have let him know in no uncertain terms we don’t suffer bullshit from the manager, nor will we take the sub-standard tactical acumen we seem to be getting fed far too often this season… Again, the thing that bothers me, is that he has not offered a backtracking charm offensive in any way, shape or form, to steady the tsunami of criticism that inevitably would have come his way…
I sometimes wonder, certainly during this piss poor season we have endured, as to whether a form of ‘buyers remorse’ has set in with him/his wife, demands of the PL, UK living arrangements, hostile media etc… Maybe, just maybe he knows the job is a step too far for him and he can’t wait to leave…
There are so many cards still up in the air surrounding the hierarchy at LFC at the moment… would be good if these cards started to land sooner rather than later so we as fans, can start to see which way we are heading as a club…

Yet we have such an excess in our worst department, midfield, we can afford to play them at right back.
fitness is non-existent. we probably one of the most unfit teams in the PL. the team is pretty much exhausted by the 60th minute on most match days. this is playing one fuckin match a week.

If we don’t get the fitness conditioning with the appropriate rest and rotation largely right, we will get a fuck load of injuries like what we are seeing now at the forwards.
It is like the worse combo to have for a PL head coach/manager : a head coach who don’t take fitness conditioning seriously coupled with a liking to have no rotation in the squad with a strong disdain to youth players.
Fuck me, if I can see it, sure as fuck Hughes and Edwards can see it too!
