What you all saw today. It all points to poor tactical training. Tactical training like that isnāt super physically strenuous. And then when you see the players and the Head Coach jetting off midweek to various places to relax, it really pisses the fans off as they feel that time spent on jetting off should be on the training ground to work on the failure in tactics.
That is a clear drop in standards like what Mo Salah was saying and was what VVD was alluding to.
Slot has introduced an arrogant mindset to this club and it has to be eradicated immediately. His comments post match are not helping at all. Whatās worse is the players have no idea why are they not doing well.
The Kop can forgive fuck ups if you have shown some effort in doing it. However, once you see the Head Coach and players jet off to relax before the start of an important match and does badly on the pitch, it will just invite the Kop to show their frustrations.
We are now playing 1 match per game week. 1 day of recovery after a match, 4 days of work, 1 day of recovery before a match is too hard for our highly paid players and Head Coach???

To come down from winning PL with so many games to spare to being worried you canāt secure THE FIFTH spot for CL qualification should be enough for Slot to be dismissed at the end of the season.
Booing by fans is obviously a significant action but i wonder if that is enough? From what i remember FSG took action with Hodgson because fans had either started walking out of games early or just didnt go.
So deluded he 100% thinks heāll be here next season and there will be another Ā£400m to spend and 6 new players will arrive again.
It hasnāt got that bad, but there is no way FSG are not aware of the fanbaseās dissatisfaction with what is transpiring and how badly it wants Slot gone.
I canāt believe that theyāll ignore the mountain of evidence against Slot, but if they do, it will mean that the situation behind the scenes is much worse than thought.
Someone already made the comparison, and I think thereās some truth to it;
heās increasingly behaving like Mourinho. Heās never at fault and just needs xyz players to strengthen the team, then everything will definitely improve because he knows what the problem is, etc. Instead of focusing on coaching the team, improving the existing players, etc., heās now revealing himself to be almost a pure checkbook manager.
But that a lot of change so we need patience for them to come together properly

Kind of, but itās not that bad imo. Mourinho is cruel, Slot is defensive too as you note, but donāt think he has attacked referees, managers or players in the manner Mourinho can do.
I think Slot is a dead corpse being kept alive by our owners, and that it will continue to rot and I see not light at the end of the tunnel if he gets to continue, but I donāt see evidence that Arne Slot is a bad man, a cruel man. A frustrated man on the defensive that sometimes lashes out at others when he shouldnāt have, sure, but I donāt get the War Criminal vibes I get from Mourinho at all from him. So I donāt like this comparison.
I think he knows heās fighting to convince some and I think thatās why his comments are getting odder. To be fair he hasnāt had a go at the fans. He has said he understood both times.
Heās just done nothing to solve it, ultimately Iāll cherish the title win and for most of the season I did think we were heading to a side that had more control.
But all that control has gone and we donāt have the urgency we had to get us into those positions. Also everyoneās unfit and jetting around Europe if theyāve got free days.
None of it looks good. Rest days, stroll with the dog or having a coffee but beyond that until the season is over I donāt want to see it. Certainly not in our form.

No, itās not that extreme with Slot. But in my eyes, heās a snob who values squad players or junior players who earn less as less, and thatās how he treats them. Heād love to get rid of them all and trade them in for some great new expensive players, etc. It makes sense, since he only uses them sporadically and out of necessity anyway. I donāt even want to know what goes on behind the scenes.
He could just be too risk adverse especially when trying to prove himself and this season when trying to silence the criticism.
However I donāt think I quite understand whatās going on with Gomez.
If Konate or VVD get injured now just bring in Rhys Williams weāre already poor I doubt it can be any worse. Touch wood.
This season he really has crossed over into physically fucked territory. Heās being kept on the bench in a true break glass in emergency situation becaus if you use him outside of that heās going to have picked up an injury and wonāt be available when you need him.
