Arne Slot - Head Coach (Part 2)

“Salah’s right, the footballs shite” chants the Kop as we’re 3-0 down to Brentford. I can see it now.

Yes, with Slot clearly on thin ice whatever he publicly say, he can’t afford to be petty. And in any case, it’s not a trait he has shown in his personality, looking at the way Salah outburst has been handled.

Whatever ends up happening, Slot has the incentive for us to qualify for CL before anything else.

Honestly not sure it is the coaching skill that is the problem but that the players are not listening to Slot.

When I look at the play… many look like they are going through the motions. Does having the senior players gone change the dynamic?

Don’t know… but I agree with Slot that a fresh start will help. But for most of us that is a fresh start without him as well.

If that is the case, seems to me that Slot has lost the dressing room.

Every hour, there is something coming out about what is happening with Liverpool.

Disappointed that Salah didnt word that statement better along the lines of " from heavy metal football to benny hill theme music football"

I did just notice here that Salah chose the same word as Slot for the comments after post match fuk up against Villa.

Crumble

So I wanna ask on here, are you :right_arrow:

Apple or Rhubarb ?

He spent way too much time in GB at the local club level…more Brit than Dutch.

Whatever Mo has said…it is not something new and every one knows it.

He just doesn’t need to do this washing of dirty linen in public.
If the manager has lost the dressing room, and you don’t agree with it…keep it in the dressing room.
Absolutely uncalled for from Mo, should behave better…after last incident and remember this club’s ethos
And , funnily enough half of these prima donnas who liked his post can’t ever press to save their life and they talk about heavy metal football.
This club is a mess right now from top to bottom, I am glad some players are leaving at the end of the season. Slot and Hughes must also depart and I won’t mind Edwards either.
We need a complete reset !!!

I have a lot of sympathy with this viewpoint, and I prefer dirty laundry to be washed inside. Arguably, since he is going, this is Mo’s last big effort on behalf of the club and not himself, as he genuinely does believe we are on the wrong lines.

Going further up the food chain it is a failure of leadership by the suits. Salah speaking out is a symptom of their inaction and inability to lead, and deal with the situation in a more timely manner.

I expect it will be swift now.

You speak with so much certainty despite having as little clue as the rest of us.

Personally I think he’ll be gone within weeks
