But nothing in the article supports your statement- “when he is off nearly every week away from the northwest of England!”
My point is we do not have to lie to find things to criticize about Slot…There’s plenty of material…

I know this would be hard for you ‘sgs’ but you could just hold your hands up and say ‘fair enough, you’re right, thanks for backing up what you said when I called you a liar’. Just a thought.
Don’t usually do that…
Might be a statement before the game, I would expect they hope to ride out any issues and get the goodbyes and if he is to go they release a statement in the evening.
They just have to hope there isn’t the 6 goal swing.
“when he is off nearly every week away from the northwest of England!”
Facts matter you know. Even on an internet forum…
If modern England has taught me anything, it’s that facts absolutely do matter …as long as it suits the narative being pushed.
Oh? Spanish coach/manager. Hmmm…
Thiago Alcântara quits Barcelona assistant manager job: “He has his own plans”
Thiago has left his role as Barcelona assistant manager ahead a new challenge, with Hansi Flick revealing the former Liverpool midfielder “has his own plans.”
…
But the 35-year-old’s spell on the staff has only lasted one season, with Flick explaining Thiago’s decision to depart in his press conference on Friday.
I read he was going to join Alonso. But I think that was just an AI generated story custom created to hurt me.
Are you joking, trolling or just not very clever?
Learn to speak to people in a civil manner first.
CL qualification on the line and you’re expecting them to announce ahead of the game he’s off?
There’s a game to win (or at least not lose) and that’s priority one. Some way behind that, given the importance of getting a result, is the send off for two club legends. They aren’t going to overshadow either of those with an announcement the manager is leaving, especially if there’s no announcement ready about a successor or that successor is perhaps the bloke who manages the team who could overtake us and steal our CL spot.
Until Sunday is done and dusted there should be absolutely nothing official said about his future, whatever that future may be.
This is what concerned me drifting into close (silly) season that we would all start bickering (even more).
The root of this bickering is the shabby state of our club. So let’s not take it out on each other.
Because really, nothing makes sense at the moment.
We are probably awaiting another FSG swift fell-swoop. Until then it appears we must dine on regurgitation and click bait. A shabby state to leave us in FSG.
You’re right of course, but perhaps by not making things clear they are inviting fan protest on the day, which in turn will potentially undermine objective number one, which is to qualify for the CL.
Whole thing is a mess but we are lucky that CL is almost in the bag and even in the state we are in, it will need something very dramatic to let it slip.
I will be surprised if we don’t hear about an exit in the few days after the last game.
That’s not nice. There is a way to do things and this isn’t it.
More of this on Sunday please.
I only think we see protests if we don’t qualify and if that happens I think there’d be plenty of boos whether he was confirmed to be going anyway.
I think most fans will recognise that the team needs support to get over the line. Sure a few disgruntled boos may come if we’re losing but I reckon unless we look like we’re going to miss out there will be more apathy than anger around another dour performance.
We’re so close to putting this season behind us now there’s almost no need to protest unless it goes badly wrong. Ironically the worse it goes the more likely he’ll go and the fans get what they want.
Just get a dull 0-0, say goodbye to Robbo and Mo and then deal with everything else next week.
Yeah let’s make it really toxic. Distract from a vital game and cast a horrible mood over the goodbyes to two club legends.
That’ll teach him.
That is not right. We fans are better than this classless banner. This is not the way to do it to our Head Coach.
