I donât think Slot flies home every weekâŚand I think it was Slotâs choice rather than Hughesâ choice to allow players to have 2-3 days break whenever possible which also allows Slot to fly back home or to some party place at the same timeâŚ

We have seen this play unfolded with Brendan Rodgers. I cannot believe that FSG is repeating the same mistake all over again with reports of Enrique extending his contract till 2030, Iraola courted heavily by CP and Hoeness also being in demand.
The PPG we have right now is firmly in bottom mid-table. Will this new assistant improve the fitness conditioning of the squad? Will this new assistant improve the work ethics of the coaching staff and the playing staff? Will the new assistant improve our pressing shape?
I can see it becoming another Brendan Rodgers scenario. This time, there is no equivalent of a Jurgen Klopp waiting at the end of the tunnel.

Bringing in this guy a set piece merchant and thinking this is any serious answer is just weird.
Most would argue the malaise is far deeper than that and this looks like window dressing.
Surely FSG is not being sold another pup!

Some of you really donât think, we all loved Jurgen, but he had Buvac and Linders as his assistants and they were heavily involved with our tactical setup.
No difference with Arne he will have his coaches that help with the tactical plan.
I donât feel he can turn it around but donât give him grief for surrounding himself with good coaches, if they are, as all top managers have done so and do so.

Reijnen is being labelled as a set piece coach. I guess we will see how we will be transformed, but hopefully not into Arsenal Mk II. Right now, Slot team almost completely relies on individual brilliance to score some fantastic goals, but rarely scoring from a proper team goal/build up goal.

Thatâs not the point. If a new assistant was the missing piece, what does that tell you about Slot? How come he won the title without him? Klopp lost Buvac, Benitez lost Ayesteran and neither saw the team unravel like this.
Over the last decade FSG became known as shrewd operators; they are about to tear their reputation down in a matter of a few days if they keep showing blind faith to Slot when fans, pundits and more importantly senior players, some of them legends, are telling them that itâs not good enough.
Tomorrowâs game must be his last.

No, but there was a notable difference following both changes.
However, i think this move is separate to them deciding to persist with Arne.

Just a day away from seeing Salah, Robertson, and (maybe) Alisson in a Liverpool kit for the last time. I think maybe out of respect for that at least, they wonât get booed off in the event of another tedious draw/loss.
Other than that, this is going to be one of the dullest last days of the season in a while. Spurs going down would make it somewhat eventful at least.
Itâs the âChosen oneâ banner thatâs seared into my memory. Still gives me a chuckle.

He can bring in as many assistants as he likes, but he is and always will be a timid coach who plays it safe just to avoid losing, rather than to win.

I heard the supposed new assistant is the set-piece guru which I suppose is not gonna change any fucking thing about open play. You would have thought FSG would have learnt its lesson with the Brendan Rodgers debacle but if they persist with Slot, it shows they have learnt absolutely nothing.
If Slot needs a nerd to tell him that his team is failing instead of simply watching replays of the game, I would be extremely worried about next season because it will be more of the same shit served up.
Our set-pieces are decent this season so having another set-piece specialist and data guy is not gonna help anything in open play at allâŚ
A draw will see us through to the UCL places which will stifle the boos.
A huge loss of 4 goal margin or more for LFC at Anfield coupled with Bournemouth winning by a 3 goal margin or more will see us lose UCL placing for the first time since the 22/23 season and create a league record of being the first team to lose out on UCL places purely on goal difference in a season with 5 UCL placing.
